About Practice-IT

Practice-IT is an IT skills development company and our solutions have been designed specifically with IT departments in mind. Our focus is on developing the practical hands-on skills of your staff allowing the individual to benefit as well as the organisation.

 

The company was started specifically to address the void left by traditional IT training practices in the market place. Too often IT courses finish with the delegate only interested in 50% of the subject matter covered, a folder and a thank you. This method means your ROI is much lower than it should be.

 

The idea came about while discussing a technical problem with a support desk engineer. The basic premise was that he could not test his theory on how to resolve his problem on the production systems and did not have the time or resource to build a test environment in the office or at home. The proverbial "light" came on, if we could provide an online service where the testing could happen, with some supported learning on relevant topics we could be onto something here.

 

What was a simple discussion has turned into a reality, Practice-IT now provides solutions for a range of technologies always with the same philosophy - make sure it benefits the people who are going to use it.

To provide a service that gives every customer the necessary tools to develop their staff so they become confident in their own abilities to perform the job required of them, whilst ensuring the business benefits from these skills as well.
